I was doing some research for a friend’s wedding today and I happened to come across some very creative ways to incorporate mason jars into wedding decor. This incorporates beautifully with a rustic wedding theme and is a simple, yet chic look. First idea I love: using mason jars as centerpieces..

The above image is beautiful, and there are many ways to dress it up a bit as well. Some ideas that come to mind are adding plunged flowers inside the jar. I can also envision using different sized mason jars and surrounding the jars with flower petals and/or candles. This can be a simple DIY project for brides that want to make their own centerpieces.
Second idea I love: Using mason jars for drinks..

Whether you have a drink you create especially for your wedding or you have a drink as simple as gingerale, mason jars are a great way to serve beverages at your wedding. Again, it is such a simple, chic look! It can also help your uniquely created cocktail stand out. Your drinks can be pre-made and set out in mason jars just before your reception for guests to enjoy! Going even further with the idea, if you do decide to create your own cocktail you could include your initials and date on the jar and the recipe on the bottom of the jar and give them away as favors.
Third idea I love…
Using mason jars for flower decor…
You can use mason jars with flowers for centerpieces or for random decor around your ceremony and reception to tie everything together.
Last but not least..might even be my favorite:
Using mason jars as lighting..
Incorporating mason jars into your lighting is a sure way to transform your wedding from beautiful to magical. It truly is a unique, stunning look!
To wrap it all up..this is a great example of taking something as simple as a mason jar and turning it into something chic, rustic and beautiful that you can incorporate throughout your wedding!
Hope you enjoy,
Kate
